Commercial jackets do not use wild hides because there are imperfections, scars from the animals spirited life in the forest. Designer M. Renee embraces the natural variations and marks, incorporating and even featuring the storied aspects of each hide.

Elk hide, wild sourced and tanned in the USA, is sumptuous, supple, and aromatic. If this isn’t the most decadent leather jacket you’ve ever had, I’ll buy it back… If you can let it go.
